Initially the company was named Comec Costruzioni Meccaniche spa; in 80’s Johnson Controls purchased the company and renamed into Uniloy Comec. Main headquarted was in Calenzano, few kilometers away from Florence / Italy. The company was one of the leading producers of continuous extrusion blowmoulding machines (EBM). Late in 90’s the plant was relocated to Abbiategrasso in the same place, where Uniloy Moretti was. In 1998 Milacron purchased Uniloy companies from Johnson Controls, becoming Uniloy Milacron. Two years later moved to a new plant in Magenta, close to Milan.
The range of machines included following models (with single and double station): MSA (30 kN clamp, 250 mm stroke), MSB (50 kN clamp, 300 mm stroke), MSC (100 kN clamp, 390 mm stroke) and MSCK (140 kN clamp, 450 mm stroke).
